Age: Unknown. Best guess is early/mid thirties, but hasn't seemed to age much in the last decade.
Distinguishing Marks: Numerous small scars (burn scars, welding accidents). Bullet wound in left shoulder. Laser burn on right hip. Electrical scarring pattern up and down right arm. Wears glasses (augmented with scan/zooming/recording functions) and hearing aids.

Abrasive | Belittling, haughty, rude - Iris is not a pleasant person to be around. She butts into conversation, flaunts her superiority and brilliance, and generally demands the spotlight wherever she goes. She takes great joy in winding people up and making them uncomfortable, be it through aggressive come-ons or genuine danger. Even with robots and androids, whose company she generally prefers to humans, Iris is almost smotheringly matronly, assuming familiarity and that they’ll defer to her judgement and orders. (Though if she built them, they certainly will). People call her a bitch; they’re not far off.
Egotistical | One doesn’t try to take over the world because they’re humble. To Iris, the needs and wants of other people are immaterial, unimportant. She doesn’t try to conquer because she has concrete policies to improve lives (that’s why she uses robots, not politics), but because she wants to. Of course things will be better when she’s in charge; her ideas are the best for her, therefore they’re the best for everyone. Of course her technology is superior to some sub-par invention created by anybody else - not to say that she can’t improve, just that she’s always a cut above the rest.
Intelligent | Perhaps the most frustrating thing about Iris’ ego is that its not unwarranted. She is one of - if not the - foremost experts in robotics in the world. Even ignoring her multiple attempts at world domination, her research into the field or robotics is without peer, and her articles and papers have been printed (and redacted) from a dozen-odd scientific publications. Her mind is like a sponge, or even some highly advanced learning AI: absorbing information, filing it away for later use, seeking patterns and connections that others haven't even conceptualized.
